Penelitian ini mengkaji perkembangan dan tantangan deteksi kebohongan di Indonesia melalui pendekatan Literature Systematic Review. Hasil kajian menunjukkan adanya kemajuan metode deteksi kebohongan, khususnya berbasis analisis suara, respons fisiologis, dan pendekatan multidisipliner. Namun, penerapannya masih menghadapi kendala berupa keterbatasan validitas ilmiah, legitimasi hukum dalam sistem peradilan pidana, standar operasional, serta isu etika dan perlindungan hak asasi manusia.
