PENGARUH HARGA EMAS GLOBAL DAN STABILITAS RUPIAH TERHADAP SUKU BUNGA BANK INDONESIA

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh harga emas global dan stabilitas nilai tukar rupiah terhadap suku bunga Bank Indonesia (BI Rate) pada periode 2006–2025. Penelitian menggunakan data runtun waktu tahunan yang bersumber dari TradingView untuk harga emas global, serta Badan Pusat Statistik (BPS) Indonesia untuk data nilai tukar rupiah dan BI Rate. Metode analisis yang digunakan adalah regresi linear berganda dengan pendekatan Ordinary Least Square (OLS), disertai uji asumsi klasik yang meliputi uji normalitas, multikolinearitas, heteroskedastisitas, dan autokorelasi. Hasil uji parsial menunjukkan bahwa harga emas global berpengaruh negatif dan signifikan terhadap BI Rate, artinya peningkatan harga emas cenderung diikuti penurunan suku bunga sebagai respons Bank Indonesia terhadap ketidakpastian ekonomi global. Sementara itu, stabilitas nilai tukar rupiah tidak berpengaruh signifikan secara parsial terhadap BI Rate. Namun, secara simultan, kedua variabel tersebut berpengaruh signifikan terhadap BI Rate.
