Pengembangan Website Geographic Information System Multi Bencana Kota Palopo

Informasi kebencanaan di Kota Palopo masih menghadapi kendala berupa penyebaran data yang belum terintegrasi sehingga menghambat akses informasi dan pengelolaan data berbagai jenis bencana. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengembangkan Website Geographic Information System Multi Bencana sebagai media pengelolaan dan penyajian informasi kebencanaan yang terintegrasi. Penelitian menggunakan metode Research and Development dengan model Waterfall yang meliputi analisis kebutuhan, perancangan, implementasi, pengujian, dan pemeliharaan sistem. Evaluasi dilakukan melalui Black Box Testing, validasi ahli, dan validasi pengguna. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa sistem berhasil mengintegrasikan informasi empat jenis bencana, yaitu banjir, tanah longsor, kebakaran lahan, dan puting beliung, dalam satu platform berbasis web yang dilengkapi peta interaktif, peta tematik, pengelolaan data, dan visualisasi statistik. Seluruh fungsi sistem berjalan sesuai dengan kebutuhan, serta memperoleh penilaian sangat baik dari ahli maupun pengguna sehingga dinilai layak untuk diimplementasikan. Kebaruan penelitian ini terletak pada pengembangan WebGIS yang mengintegrasikan berbagai jenis bencana dalam satu platform terpadu untuk mendukung pengelolaan data dan penyebaran informasi kebencanaan di tingkat daerah. Dengan demikian, sistem yang dikembangkan dapat menjadi media informasi yang efektif dalam mendukung pengelolaan kebencanaan di Kota Palopo.
