Abstract

Tenaga kerja perempuan di sektor industri rumahan memiliki beban ganda yang unik, yaitu menjalankan peran produktif sebagai pekerja sekaligus peran domestik sebagai pengelola rumah tangga secara bersamaan dan dalam ruang yang sama. Kondisi ini berpotensi memicu stres kerja yang tidak terkelola dengan baik serta ketimpangan work-life balance, namun seringkali tidak disadari oleh pelaku usaha itu sendiri karena dianggap sebagai bagian yang wajar dari kehidupan sehari-hari. Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan pemahaman dan keterampilan tenaga kerja perempuan pelaku industri rumahan di Kelurahan Titi Papan, Kecamatan Medan Deli, Kota Medan, dalam mengenali gejala stres kerja, menerapkan teknik manajemen stres sederhana, serta menyusun strategi keseimbangan antara kehidupan kerja dan kehidupan pribadi. Kegiatan dilaksanakan melalui metode sosialisasi partisipatif yang meliputi ceramah interaktif, diskusi kelompok, simulasi teknik relaksasi, serta pendampingan penyusunan rencana aksi pribadi. Evaluasi dilakukan melalui pre-test dan post-test terhadap peserta untuk mengukur perubahan pemahaman sebelum dan sesudah kegiatan. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan adanya peningkatan pemahaman peserta mengenai gejala dan penyebab stres kerja, teknik pengelolaan stres, serta pentingnya menjaga keseimbangan kehidupan kerja dan pribadi. Kegiatan ini diharapkan dapat menjadi model intervensi berkelanjutan bagi kelompok tenaga kerja perempuan sektor informal di wilayah perkotaan lain yang memiliki karakteristik serupa.
